The Public Information Office works closely with local, regional, and in some cases national media, to ensure that media entities meet their deadlines with accurate, open, and timely communication from the City of Grand Island. Responsibilities include press releases, public service announcements, media pitches, arranging interviews for City personnel, and serving as a spokesperson on behalf of the City.
